SEE'S CANDY SALES

Every fall for more than 24 years Soroptimist International of Kona has sold Sees Candies as a fund Raiser.  Monies raised go towards Service projects and Scholarships.  The three scholarships are:

• The Violet Richardson Award  This award recognizes a young women, age 14-17, who makes the community of Kona and/or the world a better place through her involvement. download application 
  
  
• The Youth Citizenship Award  This award recognizes a young person (male and female, usually a high school junior or senior) who makes outstanding contributions to home, school, community, country and the world. download application 
  
  
• The Women’s Opportunity Award   This award gives female heads of household who provide the primary source of financial support for their families, the opportunity to achieve their career goals. download application 

Candy Sales are taken by any Soroptimist member during the month of November.  The orders are then placed after Thanksgiving weekend and delivered the first week of December.  If you are interested in ordering See’s Candy please contact any Soroptimist member.
